Our Instructors & Staff Members
Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Karate and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.
Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students. Here are a few of Amerikick EHT's instructors and other staff members, starting with :
Sensei Stephen Wright (5th Dan)
Stephen started training in 1974. He started teaching karate part time in 1993. In 2000 he opened Shore Kick Karate and started teaching full time. He promoted his first tournament, The War at the Shore, at the Tropicana on January 19, 2003. Steve is also was certified personal fitness trainer. Mr. Wright was licensed by the N.J. Boxing commissioner to judge kick-boxing and mixed martial arts bouts.

Sensei Kimberly Wright (Sensei 3rd Dan)
Kimberly started karate in January 1992. Kim has won many 1st places in point sparring and continuous fighting. Kim won her 1st women's Grand Championship at the age of 14. Kim and her brother, Stephen Wright, performed at the Tropicana Casino in the Night of Champions. They did a musical Kata to The Devil Went Down Georgia using the Kamas. Kim heads our pre-school program. In 2003, Kim made the U.S. Karate Team and competed in Paris, France.

Jennifer Wright (1st Dan Black Belt)
Jenn started Karate in 1992 at the age of 7. She has won 1st places in continuous fighting and point sparring in NASKA, NBL, and World Cup Tournaments. She has been nationally rated in both NBL and WCMAO. Jenni graduated from Widener University and Widener Law School. She is an assistant prosecutor in Cape May County. Jenn was the coordinator of Shore Kick's War at The Shore, a national tournament, sanctioned by the World Cup.

Stephen M. Wright (2nd Dan)
Stephen started karate at the age of four. He has competed in point sparring, continuous fighting, musical weapons kata, and open hand kata. He recently performed to "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" at the Night of Champions at the Tropicana. The event was aired on pay per view TV. Steve won his first men's grand championship in sparring at the age of 16. Steve served in the Coast Guard in Washington D.C. He has also started his own band, The List.
